How many people are there in the school?
There are usually an average of 20 students in the school at any one time, although the number varies according to the time of year. December and May, for example, are traditionally the quietest months and so there are less students at those times.

From what countries do they normally come?
We have students from all corners of the world here - in this aspect Euro Estudios is truly international! The most common nationalities are Swedish, Norwegian, Dutch, German and British, although we also have had students from as far afield as Taiwan and Australia.

How old are the students normally?
Our students are usually aged from eighteen to thirtysomething, although of course we have students of all ages. It's never too late to learn!

For how long do they stay?
Course lengths range from 2 weeks to 9 months (or even longer if you so desire). The average stay is for about 6 weeks, although there are many students that stay for just 2, and also a lot that stay for many months.

The maximum class size is 8, but what is the average class size?
Around 4 to 5, although if it's necessary we can have groups of 2 or even 1 student. We'll never put you in a class with people who aren't at your level.

Is there anything special I need to bring with me?
For the classes all you need to bring is a pen and paper, and a dictionary is useful for doing homework. If you stay in one of our student apartments you should bring a towel and your toiletries - everything else is included in the price (bedding too).

How long are the classes?
Each hour of classes comprises 50 minutes of teaching, and a 10 minute break.

Will I get all books and material for the classes?
Yep - you'll receive all the books, etc. necessary on the first day. Of course there is no extra charge for this material.

Will I have the same teacher during the week?
You will have between one and two teachers each day, depending on the groups and levels of the students. However, they will always be the same teachers from day to day, although we may change the teachers occasionally just so you can experience different accents and styles of speaking Spanish.

On which level will I start?
All students take a short Spanish test on their day of arrival so that we can work out their level and put them in the appropriate class.

Can I change my level if I feel it's not right for me?
If you feel you're in the wrong level, we will move you straight away to a class more suited to you. It's important that you feel comfortable!

When can I begin my course?
You can start your course any Monday of the year.

How long before my course begins should I arrive?
As courses always begin on Mondays, you should normally aim to arrive on the Sunday just before.

What time are the classes?
The classes are from 9am to 10:40am, and from 11:10am to 12:50am - 4 blocks of 50 minutes each, with a half-hour pause between 10:40 and 11:10. If you choose to do 5 or 6 hours a day then the extra classes start from 1pm.

Can I take a course without ordering accommodation?
Of course!

What happens when I first arrive?
The first day you arrive at Euro Estudios we welcome you and explain how the school works. After this, you will do a short level test and then we'll accompany you to your accommodation and help you get settled in.

How many students are there normally in the apartments?
There are usually around 4 or 5.

Can I have visitors in my accommodation?
Of course you can have visitors in your accommodation. If your guest wishes to sleep there then they will be charged the same price as any student. We don't charge more for people who aren't students of the school.

When do I pay?
You don't have to pay anything in advance if you don't want to! Payment should be made within the first 3 days of your course: either by bank transfer, credit card or in cash.
